This policy describes how slitheroo.online handles gameplay data, local browser storage, leaderboard submissions, and site analytics for Slitheroo.

Data Stored In Your Browser

Slitheroo stores some information locally on your device so the game can remember your preferences and progress. This may include your nickname, high score, local stats, achievements, streak data, selected theme, selected skin, and other play-state preferences.

This local information stays in your browser unless you clear site storage or use a different browser or device.

Leaderboard Data

If you submit a score to the live leaderboard, the game sends your chosen nickname, score, mode-related submission data, and score date information to the backend used for rankings. Leaderboard storage is handled through Supabase.

The purpose of this data is to run daily and all-time rankings, reduce duplicate or abusive submissions, and display public score results to players.

Analytics And Site Measurement

Slitheroo may use Google Analytics or similar measurement tools to understand traffic, page use, and general product performance. This helps identify broken pages, understand which support content is useful, and measure whether gameplay and help content are working as intended.

Advertising

Slitheroo may use Google advertising products as part of monetization. During review or maintenance periods, some ad features may be disabled or reduced. When ads are active, ad providers may process request-related data according to their own policies.

Rewarded ads, if enabled in the game, are optional and tied to specific gameplay flows such as a continue offer. Optional ad features are not required to use the main game.

Offline Support And Cached Files

Slitheroo uses a service worker and manifest so the game can load quickly and support repeat visits. Cached files may remain on your device until the browser refreshes them or you clear site data.

Your Choices

  • You can clear local gameplay data by removing site storage in your browser.
  • You can reset in-game stats from the My Stats page.
  • You can stop using the live leaderboard by not submitting ranked runs.
